# DartMonitor

> DartMonitor watches the dependencies of Dart and Flutter projects on pub.dev. It reports which packages are out of date, shows the changelog for each update, and sends email digests and critical-update alerts.

Agents: please don't drive the web UI. Everything it does is available through the MCP server below.

## MCP server

- Endpoint: `https://dartmonitor.dev/api/mcp`, Streamable HTTP transport, `POST` only.
- Auth: `Authorization: Bearer pmk_...`. The user creates the token in the **API tokens** panel after signing in at [dartmonitor.dev](https://dartmonitor.dev). Tokens can't be created over MCP.
- No token: only the three pub.dev lookup tools are available, and anyone can use them.

## Tools

pub.dev lookups (no token needed):

- `check_package`: latest version of one package, whether an update is available, and its changelog
- `check_packages`: the same for up to 100 packages at once
- `check_pubspec`: checks every dependency in a `pubspec.yaml`

Account (token needed):

- `whoami`: account, limits and notification settings
- `set_notification_preferences`: digest on/off, interval, critical alerts
- `list_api_tokens`, `revoke_api_token`

Saved projects (token needed):

- `list_projects`, `get_project`
- `save_project`: create a project or replace its dependencies
- `update_project_dependencies`: update installed versions
- `delete_project`
